Does anyone else know someone who won't watch LotR because of an actor in it?

My mom refuses to watch the movie because of Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins), she hates him to the extreme.

That is completely ridiculous. I hate Keanu with a passion, but he far from ruined The Matrix for me. Your mom needs to take some Paxil and get over it.

I vaguely remember someone on here also gave the same reason for not wanting to watch LOTR.

As for why I asked about Patrick, I remember seeing him on the cover of the Advocate magazine. I'm waiting for my LOTR DVD before I watch TTT

I don't like Elijah Wood too much either but that is NO reason to not see the movies. I mean..there are so many other great actors and actresses in the movie: Viggo Mortensen, Liv Tyler, CHRISTOPHER LEE, Cate Blanchett, Orlando (hehe..he's a cutie) Bloom, Ian McKellen. I mean, think of all those awesome actors and the even more awesome story you'll be missing out on just because you don't want to see ONE actor!

My mom doesn't watch that many movies anyway (she is a book person) so she doesn't really care if the other actors are good.
