Does anyone know of any alternate AIM connection servers?

The problem is that when I am at school, we are behind a firewall so everyone on the outside see's us as one IP. The problem with that is when our internet connection goes down, everyone tries to get back on AIM at the same time. AIM won't allow this because it says, "you are trying to sign on again too soon" because it thinks that someone is trying to sign on and off 3000 times in a matter of seconds. I was wondering if anyone knew of any alternate AIM connection server host names and ports other than the standard login.oscar.aol.com and port 5190. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I always use port 23 because it's faster on my school network.

I have tried several different ports but none of them help. I was wondering if there is a different login host name for the server other than oscar?
