Does anyone know the range of the keyboard in the Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical Package (the black one)

I have been 25ft from mine and it still works like a champ.

Oh man.. 25 ft!? That's great! When I had mine for a short time, mine started flaking out at about 8 ft. I ended up returning mine because I didn't like the keyboard. I think because of the super low profile, Logitech changed something on the keyboard. It sure doesn't feel like my corded Logitech keyboard or even the other cordless keyboards that I've tried. It's like the keys aren't very sturdy and if you hit the keys from the side at all, the keys seem to stick or hang up. YMMV, but I didn't care for it and ended up returning it. It's lovely to look at though and the idea is fantastic!!

One spooky side note. I was going through some old receipts a month or so ago and came across my return receipt for the Freedom Optical. I had returned it the night before 9/11. I hope that wasn't a bad omen or anything..

hmmm...this is the problem. I've heard many answers. I know the mouse range is only about 6ft. Thats not a problem for me as I do not care much for a cordless mouse. However, I *love* the keyboard, but if the range is only 6ft as well, I might as well getthe Internet Navigator (corded) keyboard, which is nearly exactly the same anyway. The thing is I've heard many different answers for this (from 6ft to 25ft).
I've looked on the logitech site for contact details for a product enquiry, but they don't seem to have one. I then emailed support@logitech.com, but its been 24hrs and they still haven't replied :\
