next year i am sure you'll be doing the same thing we are doing, given if conditions stay the same.

I've known about this for the past few days and decided not to do it this way. Then again I'm the same guy who ordered a vertical file cabinet from Staples and got two delivered by accident and decided to call Staples and let them know so they could pick up the extra. I hate BB as much as the next guy. If you can do something to legally rip them off, then I'm all for you, but you're ripping off your fellow consumers here, not BB.

How does requesting that a store match their own advertised price constitute ripping anyone off? The way I see it, we're just outsmarting the average consumer. Access to this board is free. Anyone is welcome to come research the sales themselves to get the best deals possible. Its called smart shopping.

I talked to a CSR. He said they are supposed to show up at 4 am (store opens at 6). They are handing out coffee and donuts to those waiting in line. They are also apparently handing out "tickets", so those who want the specials can get them. In other words, if they have 40 hard drive/mem packages, they will hand out 40 tickets to those that want them, until they're gone, so the first 40 will be assured to get them. Well anyways, that's what he said they were doing at this one store. YMMV.

That's what they did at my store...I was first in line.
I'll tell you this, they sure know how to hand out the tickets, but there was no one manning the table that had the hard drives! So people just ran back and picked one up even if they didn't have a number. It was 1 per person too and the idiot cash register girls let one guy buy 8 of them!!

Nuts...I don't know if its worth it to even go out to buy stuff I don't really need just b/c its cheap.
