DX10 = Windows Vista = 6+ months = NV 8 series = Maybe

Either way we should have something new by the end of the year.

It's hard to know for sure. Normally a new generation comes out every 15 months or so. Since G80 wont be built up for DX10 from the ground up, there is no reason for its design to wait until Vista and DX10 are released. Which means it will most likely come out a lot earlier than 9 months from now and before R600 for sure. 7800 came out in June of last year I believe. So after June 2006, it's anyone's guess.
