i watch my daughter play it... she's so cute getting fragged endlessly by minx (the only bot she plays against) at the easiest skill level. she loves it.
Played some last week. I was in to weapons factory for a few years, played in a clan and did beta testing for new releases, etc. Been away for at least a year. Waiting for Doom III to come out.
Whenever I get a new video card a play a few rounds of Q3 just to see how well it works. I'll have to find a new game though, Q3 is childsplay to all but the suckiest of modern cards.
I use it as a test game when I use new hardware/drivers etc. It's a great benchmark as it scales very well. Not many games since have used OpenGL sadly.
the Q3 railgun looks just like a really slow laser
and the grenade launcher was teh suk
they even toned down quad damage, how can u call it quad if its not quad damage
I play the DeFraG mod. Think you're good at games? Try it, you'll probably get a rather rude surprise as you realise that your headshot accuracy in CS isn't everything
