I frequent a relatively stylish forum. We have Google and Facebook integration. You can like or dislike a person's post. You can preview post without clicking on the link. They have emoticons that move and dance! Move and dance!! You can even private message the mods.

Basically, it has the whole kitten kaboodle!

For it's intended purpose? Not really. If you run a website, you should be using Google+ as an SEO tool. Google's algorithm tends to grab linked pages faster than it would otherwise.

Also, save me a seat on the facebook hate train. The day that I can't keep my social circles separate is the day that I drop out of them. I already have two separate FB accounts, one to placate my family and one to use the way I want to use it. Yeah that's against the TOS, but idgaf. My opinion of FB was ruined once they opened it up to everyone and their grandmothers.

This, and post/tread voting sucks. It would make this site like reddit where unpopular posters get ganked, and people self-censor to keep the "karma" good. It kind of works on reddit due to the sheer volume, but even then, not really. It would be a disaster here.

I couldn't care less about emoticons. I wouldn't mind seeing them removed altogether. If it isn't ascii, it's crap :^D
