You are looking at a small subset of the members here above. Most of these same members above are members of a forum designed to conspire against AnandTech due to many of them being banned for not obeying our rules and again are butt hurt that they get in trouble when they violate things.

What's funny to me is if that place is so great, why don't the usual suspects just play there.

IMHO the answer is they like being disruptive here.

Well the reality of it and one I am trying to make peace with the mods about, is a bunch of the mischieveous posters enter a thread of mine or not and start trying to tear me apart.

Instead of just letting the mods handle it, I go in and have fun back.

The funny thing is they are the ones that get their feelings hurt and bombard the report post buttons and PM's to the mods. It becomes a trainwreck for them as they have to now decide who did what and if any rules were broken and then decide a fair vacation or not.

It's got to be a lot of work and I don't blame them from being upset with me at times when I take it into my own hands.

So now I do the only option I really have and just report the post if it's out of line and I think me replying to it is going to create the same mob of usual suspects jumping in and going crazy.

You have large company CFOs, industry experts, and other very successful people posting on ATOT. It's very hard to find a comparable community on the Internet. But if things keep going the way they have been it's inevitable that this forum will unravel and fade into irrelevance.

The process can be reversed but action needs to be taken soon. I hope there are enough mods out there willing to try innovative new ways of reinvigorating the forums.

There has not been anything I have not proven here and that's what you don't understand.

Some even think the M3 I owned was all make-believe and that I am having a baby just a story.

Until you accept I have been a long-term member here and in the past a VERY active trader here as well and I have never created some alter-ego or long-term made up story then you will never understand.

My life was not from the beaten path at times, but I assure you all the stories that I have told are consistent because they are true.

Not true at all and trust me I don't have many friends on the mod team here.

I can say the mods are fair and for the most part don't go flying off the handle with emotions and when it has happened they usually adjust things as long as one is not a dick about it.

Not all bans are ever increasing and one can be perm-banned for a first time issue.

The problem is you think I am a liar and you probably think I am a mod.

Trust me, my replies would have been very different to you a year or more ago; but I RESPECT the moderation here and it's their PLAYGROUND.

I am being civil here, but yes it's because I can out debate many because I stick to the topic at hand instead of flying off the handle into personal attacks.

The facts are there is a forum called MODERATOR DISCUSSIONS for this kind of thing.

The sad part is many of you think because you are a circle of like a half dozen to dozen members that you speak for all of AT.

Most of you don't even create new topics or add to any of the more serious discussion here.

You just want to rule OT and troll P&N and don't want back-talk from other members when you dish it out or get called out on inconsistencies in a story you are telling today that was very different from the way it was years ago when you first mentioned it.

Since day one, I haven't really changed my colors. My persona here has been pretty much the same, in the past I was on other forums for my personal things and used this one for more technical and trading things.

Trust me, you challenge the mods on that it will be sad.

One of the big reasons I have been allowed to be a member here is because I don't go off and insult a mod or come back with a new account to do it.

I am respectful that this is their forum.

Too many of our members get perm'd because they go ballistic against our management when they were the ones that broke the rules.

Fortunately, our mods just don't go and ban people out of their own whims. They give us a framework and a set of rules that we must follow. If you do that, you stay a member.

If you don't you don't stay a member.

Meanwhile, they have to manage all this for no pay and people like you claiming they are the problem.
