I don't use an ignore list, I tried it once and immediately saw it was pointless; and I'm perfectly capable of ignoring people or posts I don't care for without any forum feature.

To me that's akin to burning books and the like.

There is an ignore function, but it's half-useless. Put a name in the list, and posts from that name will appear as "you can't see this post because XYZ is on your ignore list", you can then click to expand it if you still want to see the post. You can also see the post if it's quoted in someone else's post, and you can still see the threads they make. I tried it once but all it does is block the content, you can still see the posts so it still breaks the flow of the thread.
Still, it's nice of them to pay some attention to this thread. I was starting to think they don't care about us.
