I enjoyed Dragon Age Inquisition. The story was interesting to me,the party was full of interesting characters, and it looks gorgeous. Was it a bit too MMOish? Yeah, probably, but that wasn't a dealbreaker for me. The party was one of my favorite RPG parties ever along with Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age Origins and Chrono Trigger. And Cassandra is my favorite romanceable character from an RPG.
The weakest part of the game was kind of the ending. They played it very safe to the point of being boring -- probably a result of all the criticism for Mass Effect 3's ending. Ironically, this ending was also "fixed" by the Trespasser DLC, giving the story an epilogue that left me anxiously awaiting the next Dragon Age game.
There is something of a romantic appeal to combining the physical world and the Fade once again, but what Solas clearly indicates that doing so would destroy the world as it we know it, probably costing millions of lives that aren't elves. The Orlesian nobility are pretty rotten and the Qunari leadership are oppressive, but what of the thousands of innocent civilians? What of Ferelden, the country you spent the whole first game saving? What of the Free Marches, and the other lands of Thedas? What of the dwarves? So no, no way in hell should Solas be allowed to succeed.
