Florida is horrible. Where to get started?
Firstly, the state is comprised of equal parts crazy people, carpet baggers, snowbirds, immigrants, jews, gays, gay jews, white trash, and shallow assholes. Anyone not fitting into one of these categories is lost and there by accident.
Now Boca. Or as most of the "locals" call it, "Bowkah!":
Boca Raton translates to "Mouth of the Rat". That's a perfect description of the city. It's populated primarily by faux-nouveau riche yuppies living off huge credit lines until that gravy train derailed in late 2007. That hasn't made them less annoying or idiotic though, so expect the same over-bleached blonde, over-surgeried, over-made up trophy wives engaged in suburban warfare at their children's birthday parties. Like dealing with unfulfilled people who try to buy their way to happiness and will judge you based on your posessions? Move to BOWKAH!
Traffic is hell. It's this weird mishmosh that's 1/3rd immigrants ignoring/ignorant of traffic laws, 1/3 snowbirds that can't see past the hood of their monster land yacht or RV, and 1/3 people who are so overcome with road rage due to these other two groups that they'll engage in gunfights at the slightest provocation.
People who live in Florida are not "Floridians". They're Florons.
Don't move to Florida. It's a shithole. Each coast needs a place to reposit the people the rest of us don't want around, and on the east coast it's Florida. The west coast has Cali.
Quit, Change Careers, Arson your house, kill yourself, whatever, but stay the fuck out of Florida.
