Does hot sauce ever go bad?

I've had a bottle of Trappey's Bull hot sauce for a little over year now and decided to see if it was still good but noticed theres no expiration on the bottle.

Should I be worried or does this sort of thing last nearly forever?

If its a processed food product it should eventually, but it seems to me that things like that can go a long time and stay good.
Even outside the fridge.

Most of that stuff takes years. I still have a 4 year old bottle of tabasco sauce which is finally down to 1/4 of a bottle.

Hot sauce is good for 4-5 years - no problem.

Takes a long time for me to go through it, but I "might" be able to finish it within 4 to 5 years.

It's been open for over a year in the fridge the whole time though, I'll use it just every once in a while.

Just looked that sauce up... it's a Louisiana-style sauce, vinegar based. I imagine vinegar probably lasts a long time. But you can get a good Louisiana-style sauce for like $.79 at the grocery store so you might as well just buy another bottle. I like Crystal, Texas Pete, and Original Louisiana brand sauce. But if you want a GOOD sauce, get yourself some Blair's Sweet Death - it doesn't have killer heat, it's probably about the same level as the sauce you're using, but it has a nice sweet taste to it. Great on chicken.

It depends on how hot the hot sauce is. If its really hot, it may be able to kill some of the bateria and keep longer.
