Does hotmail Delete Unread Messages?

Hey yall, dont know if they is the right Forum for this. But I am trying to figure out if hotmail deletes unread messages if you go over your 2 meg limit they have. I know they delete messages on Sunday but I thought it was only junkmail messages and read mail in the Inbox. If they do delete read messages from your inbox anyone know any way to get them back? Or at least find out who sent your what? It is VERY important. Thanks.

They only delete stuff in the junk box. If you are over your 2 meg limit you just wont get any mail....so I dont think they deleted something you had in your inbox.

the deleated EVERYTHING in my friend anita's account.

she was only was ticked and when she contacted them they just told her to use outlook express to get her hotmail messages.

Well I know for a fact they will delete read messages from the inbox, happens to me all the time. One person just told me they will delete unread messages on Sunday too if you are over your limit. I am kind of leaning towards that because I didnt check my email on Saturday or Sunday (Couldnt) and when I checked it today the only emails I had was 2 from today (Which were spam) and one from late last night (spam as well).

Did they tell her if she uses Outlook Express she will get the ones they deleted back? Did they delete unread messages too?

I just really need to know if they delete unread messages or not. My girl left saturday on a trip and told me she would email me when she got to where she was going to let me know she made it ok. And I havent been able to check my email untill now. I am a nervouse wreck right now. I have no way of getting ahold of her. It would help alot if I could find out if they delete those messages.

They only give you 2megs? My email box give me like 30MB(combined with web space though, but I don't use the webspace much)

Yeh hotmail went to 2megs a while ago, if you want more you have to pay.

that's why my email server is so nice... 60 gigs of all the email and spam I can handle

Hmmmm, so any idea if it actully deletes unread's or not? Or at least an idea of where to start looking?
