Does ICQ Lite have ads?

ICQ Lite was released today (i.e. out of alpha testing). It's a slimmed down version of ICQ that seems to do everything most people want without all the bloat.

Does anyone know if the Lite version has ads as well?
If so, can they be removed like with the normal version of ICQ?

I use the regular icq version and just block the ip's of the ad servers, so I never see any adds. Anything that begins with 64.xxx...... needs access but I block the rest.

Did they ever add file transfers to Trillian? Also seems like it took a couple steps just to connect in Trillian? I never tried the Pro version.

Trillian has had file transfers for a long time (for AIM, ICQ, and MSN). I'm pretty sure
they don't have it for Yahoo unfortunately... it's the only one that's missing.

Trillan has file transfer even in the non-pro version...

All I need to do is startup trillian and it connects to all the services automatically... So I dont know what 'steps' you are talking about...

Well I looked a couple times and didn't see file xfers, but maybe didn't look deep enough, partly because I remember other people talking about the same thing (no xfers for ICQ in Trillian).
And as far as connecting, when I load Trillian, it doesn't connect. I have to go to the connection manager then click connect there. Perhaps I didn't set something up to automate it.
