Does it work? Antec 1100-NZXT Kraken X40

I've already purchased both the Antec Eleven Hundred and the NZXT Kraken X40. I have not received them yet but am getting worried about the fitment of the radiator. Any help or insight on this issue will be highly appreciated, further more it will save me a hundred dollars on changing out a part. Thank you for your time.

This is a 140mm sized radiator. The Antec Eleven Hundred has no 140mm fan mounting options whatsoever. You could change the case but I'd think it'll be a lot easier to recommend a change to a Corsair H80/H60.

The easiest (assuming what DMA said is true) would be to just buy a 120mm to 140mm transition piece (words fail me).

There's a couple here... but one like this would be better for airflow.

But it looks like it would have to be mounted on the ceiling/roof of the case, if it will even fit there (get out your tape).

If you are more concerned about function over form... mount it outside of the case at the back, cut a few holes for the tubing, or if the tubes are long enough, put them through an expansion slot (however, would require breaking the "seal" of the all-in-one).

Wait wait wait, it says that top fan is 200mm... so those mounting holes gotta be 140?... if not, drill...lol

Hmm, I'm still not sure if it would mount in the standard/exhaust area though... it would be *really* tight against the side panel if it fit at all.

You should be able to mount it in the upper front inner intake though.

Would still be tight though... lots of room if you can mount it right at the front though (does that HD carrier remove?)

And Obviously it will fit where the 200mm fan is at the top, but that kinda sucks... you lose the 200, and it doesn't really "seal" it will try sucking exhaust back in around the edges.

To make my first time build go more smoothly and have a sturdier base in its intended environment I am going to get the Cooler Master HAF XB. After reading what you posted and that great picture as a reference I agree with everything you wrote, my decision for the HAF XB will be the least stressful for me, tyvm. Now to find someone to buy my unopened Antec Eleven Hundred...

Interesting choice for your fallback, it will definetly fit whatever you want to put in it though.
