Haven't went out for soup and salad in a long time, we used to live near one of these and went every weekend.

Can't say if it is as good as it used to be.

The one time my dad was visiting before he passed away a few years ago he was in heaven whe we took him there, he loved it.

Haven't been to a OG for about 12 years. There's one nearby (1.5 miles) and it isn't the same place the family used to visit frequently. I don't miss any of the food they serve. :\

Cracker barrel has mediocre food, but an awesome store. I just bought a pecan pie and a coconut pie. And some candy sticks. Good stuff.

Cracker Barrel was a thing going from North to the South back and forth in the 70s for Snowbirds when they had like two working places at the time.

It has changed a bit over time of course when they expanded.

It was a must place to stop in the 70's, a break in the road trip to eat breakfast.

Um middle america has some of the best BBQ places. Olive Garden is ok, I used to like it when I was in college and used to get their tour of italy. I went there a few months ago and it's not the same. It's edible but I would rather pay a little more and go to a real Italian restaurant.
