Does Oprah have any shame?

Alright moron...do you realize even selling those cars 10% below MSRP they're still selling them for at LEAST $24,000. That's $17,000 they have to do whatever they want with. Hell say they sold it for $20,000. That's a FREE $13,000.

Dell 30" LCD TVs and Sony notebooks were given out left and right on the show. I'd go crazy too.

Last week, a lot of the guys in Hot Deals were busting their nuts just to get a coupon from the Dellf game.

Good luck selling them, a lot of Oprah's audience comes from the chicagoland area. There's not much of a market for 200 identical Pontiacs. 200 identical Hondas, yeah, 200 Pontiacs, no.

I don't know what your problem is...yes, Oprah has more money than I can imagine, and even though the stuff may not come out of her pocket, she still had something to do with making someone's day better... and in some cases, someon's life better! If they can't afford the tax on the item, I'm sure they are not forced to take it. :thumbsup: for Oprah!

Its not what shes doing but the way in which she does it. Now that she has all the money in the world, she seeks exert her power and enjoy doing so. She throws items at people, justto see them quiver in their chair and jump up and down. It makes her feel wanted and needed, and like some sort of God.

If I were to throw dollar bills around in Harlem or some mexican community, generating a flurry - would you see me as robin hood, or some sick freak who gets a kick out of playing God?

Once a year Oprah gives away her favourite stuff to her entire audience.

This year she gave the stuff away to underpaid teachers.

She got them a plasma tv, notebook computer, $1000 gift certificate to Office Depot... some clothes..

I am happy she does this stuff.. considering how underpaid teachers are in the USA.

I actually happened to watch Oprah today, because I was at my parents' house helping my mom cook for Thanksgiving dinner. I don't think it was like that at all.

Oprah seemed really happy that she could make other people happy, and I don't see how anyone could have a problem with that, especially when you're giving it away to teachers.
