Does Serious Sam 2 demo lock up on people a lot??

Serious Sam is giving me some serious problems.. it only plays for 15 mins or so then locks out hard into windows with an error message.

ATI 9800 Pro
2100 XP with Abit NF7-S
1 gig ram

I'm not sure, but for me, whenever I get to a certian area, the frames get all choppy, and if I move the mouse a millimeter, I do like a 180 degree turn. Obvoiusly, bad for aiming. I'm on x2 4200+ 1 gig of ram and 6800GT downclocked to 1GHZ/300

I have the same problem. In the menus and in the game, the tiniest mouse movement moves the pointer from corner to corner of the screen.

I think I've had that problem too. I also had a problem with the sound going nuts, but I think that's just because of my old SB Live! Value card. I turned the number of sounds down to 10 and it works fine now.

The game works just fine on my sys, I do not experience any of the problems mentioned in this thread. By the way, I enjoyed the demo, read on other forums that others didn't, heh, can't figger that out as well. Heh, SS is SS, you pick the right weapon, keep moving, shoot anything that moves, or is shooting at you.

I've been having some issues with the OpenGL renderer, but not D3D on my X800XL. I get better framerates in OpenGL, but locks up with a memory error after flying around in battle for several seconds...anyone else seeing this. My AIW 9700pro doesn't seem to have the same issue, nor does either in D3D.

(to use Opengl, drop down the console type "gfx_iAPI=1" and restart.)
D3D= "gfx_iAPI=2"
Software= " gfx_iAPI=3"

it crashed once, but i didn't play it much. pretty boring game, mouse sense is way too high. can't even enjoy myself.
