Does vAGP (AGP voltage) affect the stability of your GPU OC?

Just wondering, because while my board defaults at 1.5, it also has a BIOS option for 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8. Just wondering whether it will help me squeeze a few mhz out of it, or if it is a waste of time.

Thanks in advance. And if it matters, its a Retail BBA 9600 pro currently running 510/353 3DMark03 stable.

I think it does. Wouldn't it be like increasing the dimm voltage to get the memory to run faster? Only in this case it's the memory on the video card. If increasing it does increase the video cards voltage to the memory.

Apparently it does not affect your oc but affects the stabilty of the northbridge (?) controller... So no it will not stabilize GPU but actually stabilizes ram/cpu

Isn't that what the chipset voltage is for?

I've tried on two different boards, and got alittle (read 10MHz or so ) better overclocks by raising the agp voltage, but it also made the damn things alot hotter, ram too.... didn't seem to thelp ram overclocking on the video boards either, for whatever reason.
