Does Visio suck or am I retarded?

Honestly, I prefer Google drawings for most of the simple flowcharts, architectural diagrams, etc., that I used to do in Visio.

BPMN ain't rocket science and Visio is Microsoft so you get what you pay for. Plenty of alternatives if you care to use them. Gliffy is currently being talked up in our organization. Open Office Draw if you want to go that route.

This year's Vizio LED's feature FALD panels, which is a technology that some companies don't even use on their high-end models.

What is there to "figure out"? Basic functionality is broken.

For example, connecting two points that are on the same horizontal plane. No shapes in between the two points. Should be a straight line between the two, right?

Nope. Visio makes the line go backwards away from the point you're trying to connect, and then it loops back around :hmm:

Turn off autoconnect points.

Either that or hit shift or ctrl while drawing the connecting line.

Ordering a license for Visio is reason enough for it to suck. All I know is here at work the license you need depends on the amount of boxes you need. So 500 boxes will cost one price and 600, 700, 1000 all cost a different price. Also if you create in the pro version you can't open it in the standard version. MS can go fuck off.
