it's a small portion. certainly not "society". my wife breastfeeds our daughter all the time in public and we have never received any comments about it. i don't usually even notice anyone looking.
That's because I don't want you to notice me
You know what happens when you assume...
This is from the same government that just raised the required fuel efficiency for cars by 40% in the next 5 years while at the same time raised the requirement of the amount of ethanol used in cars. Ethanol is less efficient than gasoline so they also just effectively reduced the gas efficiency of cars by 5%.
There is no such thing as common sense and reason when dealing with bureaucracies.
The automakers lie just as much as the tobacco companies.

We have a nap room, but no lactation room. I imagine you could do whatever you want in the nap room though, as long as it's not too loud.

Hmmm......it sounds as if you have tested this.
Oh, don't worry... we're looking. :sneaky:
2) 48 states already had this law, so in reality, it does almost nothing. Only larger Nebraska and Idaho companies will have to change if they don't already have a room for such a purpose.

I dunno, I think if I were to start a new company today it would be called, "Men Only and Some Women As Long As They Arent Nursing, Pregnant or May Become Pregnant Company". We will sell women's undergarments.
Maybe not kids in terms of age, but definitely kids in terms of maturity level.Yes, this thread was yet another reminder that most posters here are ignorant kids.

That is a local newspaper in a Nebraska town near me.Only Nebraska and Idaho lacked breast-feeding protections in state law, Miller said. Nebraska's only provision was to excuse nursing mothers from jury duty if they presented a doctor's note, she said.
How large a company are you working for?
EDIT: rereading the OP, $500,000 and up seems somewhat reasonable for a "lactation room" requirement.
Yes, because pumping at home is so unreasonable.
Oblama keeps the suprises coming!
