The question is will small businesses currently open be grandfathered in under the old laws? We can't reasonably expect employers to create another room from nothingness, can we?
Wow, you guys must not have a family, kids or working significant others. This is a great requirement.
FYI, we do have several closed door offices dedicated for this.
My wife pumps her bewbies at her office so her titties don't asplode.

Yes, this thread was yet another reminder that most posters here are ignorant kids.

Meh, parts yes, parts no. I think requiring breaks to allow for the pumping is great.
Most existing women's bathrooms should be 80% fine...maybe needing a little renovation to suit. Maybe require the installation of a changing station in the handicap stall or something so they have privacy, a table top and a little space to work with. I think requiring dedicated private rooms for it is unreasonable.
1) The OP is slightly incorrect. The reqirement is that ALL employers have such a room and UNPAID break time, unless that employer has fewer than 50 employees and if the room and break time would be undue hardships.
2) 48 states already had this law, so in reality, it does almost nothing.
It doesn't work that way. If a woman doesn't pump regularly they a) are in a huge amount of discomfort and b) start seeing reduced production.
