Does your PSU hiss? WtF?

Alright, I just upgraded from a p4 2.8 @ 3.2ghz to an AMD socket 754 3700+.
WELL, I have an Enermax 330W PSU, 2 hard drives, no overclocking at the moment, all PCI full, nvidia 6800 and DVD burner.

When I had the p4 installed, every now and then, and mostly with photoshop use, my psu would make a periodic 'hiss' noise. Whenever I put the CPU under load (or in photoshop whenever I stopped using a tool), the psu would hiss.

After upgrading to the current AMD, I've found the PSU consistantly hisses, unless I'm under nearly 75% or fuller CPU load.

Whenever the cpu is around 30-50% load (lets say itunes visualization, etc), I get a hissing in intervals (yes, like it's singing a melody to me).

Anyway, is this something to worry about? Should I upgrade to something like an Enermax 460W (which I can get at a resonable price at the moment).

I'd rather not spend the money, but I've never liked the idea of a hissing PSU.

Ideas?
Ben

By the way, my numbers currently read:

vcore1 1.52
vcore2 1.49
+3.3v 3.31
+5v 4.97
+12v 11.90

W/ my p4, everything was dead on (3.3, 5, 12)

Probably coil buzz (especially if it changes/only happens under load). A PSU with Active PFC might reduce it, as would putting the system on something that filters the input power (like a UPS or line conditioner). Or it could just be crappy design or a bad component in that Enermax, in which case there is not much you can do except replace it.

Edit: I assume that you took those numbers from the BIOS (or another monitoring program). Software voltage monitoring is worthless; check with a voltmeter if you want to know what the PSU is actually putting out.

Thanks, Matthias...
However, the real question stands: "is my computer safe with the current psu?"
Numbers pulled from Speedfan.

Normally it's not a problem in terms of the functioning of the PSU, but it can be annoying (as I'm sure you've noticed ).
