Doesn't it bother you that I (not 'I' as in evident, 'I' as in the guy using his account) have recently been logging in as seemingly random users and openly stating that I have compromised their accounts, and instead of the forum moderators/administrators informing you that your account may have been compromised, they are just stealthily deleting my posts and pretending it never happened?

Doesn't it bother you that I may well have your account details, that the administrators know this to be true, yet nobody has been warned or informed?

It would bother me.

When I was working for a cable modem provider in Houston, it was company policy to set the customers email password to "password." We would give the customers instructions on how to change their password, and tell them that they should change their password as soon as the tech leaves their house.

Very few customers actually took the time to change their passwords.

Fastward a few years, we had maybe 5,000 - 10,000 customers who had "password" for their email account password.

Company policy finally changed so that we used their customer number as their password.

It's still better than the people who use different names and passwords for everything. My friend has a shirtless pic of himself on okcupid that he wants to take down. He can't log in because he doesn't know his password. That's easy to fix; just tell okcupid to reset it and email a new one. He can't do that because he can't remember the password to his hotmail account.
