While I was in Korea I never had the opportunity to try dog meat. The locals sort keep it "hidden" from the public now...I guess you could say that while it's a traditional delicacy it's kind of taboo now. FYI, the dogs they use for "kagogi", as they call it, are small scrappy mongrels...they don't have the same breeds of dogs over there as they do here. So, when you go to sleep tonight don't worry that some Korean is going to steal your doberman, sheppard, or retriever...they've probably never even seen a dog like that and they'd be scared sh!tless by it!
