So, I assume this ruling is saying that all past special councils have been unconstitutional? And if so, does that imply past findings and prosecutions were unconstitutional? Cannon is a moron! I’ll say this about Cannon - she has integrity. When she is bought, she STAYS bought, oath of office be damned. It looks as Cannon wanted to dismiss this case while the news was still mainly covering the shooting in Pennsylvania, so as to get minimal attention.

The options are generally:

(1) appeal to the 11th Cir, win and resume (assuming SCOTUS doesn’t interfere)
(2) appeal and ask for Judge’s removal
(3) refile the case with a US Attorney in whole (Espionage + Obstruction) in Florida or in part (just Obstruction) in a different venue.

None of these options are really that good

No, she made it clear, it’s Smith as a private citizen and not serving in the DOJ she’s objecting to. So sadly Hunter can’t use the same argument.

The most brazen, most despicable, most outrageous stall tactic ever pulled off by a sitting judge. I can't imagine a worse example of a totally corrupted judge. Another totally corrupt Supreme Court justice waiting in the wings. She has no shame nor does she care how she will be tarred and feathered in the annals of history. So be it.

The argument I have heard is that Weiss has always been a permanent employee of the DOJ where as Smith was supposedly brought into the DOJ. So, that argument may not work. Just TV heads talking.
