Just to repeat - I don't mind a five guys burger, they're also better than most fast food - just when I have one, it seems like 'this is good quality but just not that enjoyable'.

There's just some lacking in flavor for me. So it sure doesn't seem as good as the hype on the walls about all these 'voted best burger' awards. Just a 'fine burger'.

I like Five Guys quite a bit, but I try to eat in only and always get them to leave the burger unwrapped since it gets a bit goopy if you leave it steaming in the wrapping. The quality and the flavour are quite good in my opinion, at least for a pseudo-fast food place, plus I like that they are so customizable.

MCD is considering all day breakfast.

AMERICA FUCK YEAH

Surprised they didn't do this years ago, after Falling Down came out.

I had a Bacon-guac burger from Carl's Jr. today and it was way better than the western one I had a few weeks back. Very tasty!

As a former employee, I can tell you that would be rough at first. Either every store would need to double their number of grills or service would slow down. It's not a smooth transition.

Ok, now I'm full. D:

Got a Western Bacon thickburger with waffle fries and an Oreo shake. $14.27!

The shake was delicious as were the waffle fries; the burger? Not so much. The patty was bone dry which was the worst part; I have to imagine they overcooked it since it was like a hockey puck. I liked everything else around the burger; the bun was nice, the rings were tasty, and the bacon was good (though a little too thin).

I think if I go back I will have a chicken sandwich like the one someone mentioned above. Oh well, at least I'm not hungry anymore!

Time for a coffee...

lol--love the photo! It's like those dudes that take pics of their steaks....

anyhoo, I have found, lately, that when I have the unfortunate cravings for a FF burger or something from the typical FF restaurants, the burger is often dry, overpriced...and generally inedible. What's more, I am often hungry again within 30 minutes or so--and this is worse than the take-out Chinese phenomenon--no full/upset stomach accompanied by hunger, it's like I never even ate that meal. I can see how people remain fat, poor, and generally unhealthy eating at this places.

What I have discovered living in the Bay Area for about 5 years now, is that when I have a craving for this kind of food, the only relevant option is InNOut Burger. The burgers are always cooked properly, filling, and relatively cheap for a standard meal. Nothing out here beats that. Fortunately, the closest InNOut here is ~20min drive.

Barf, you Americans are so disgusting

You Ethiopians are just jealous

Anyway, I have a Sam's Club and a Costco near me. I swear the Government should just buy memberships to those places for people on welfare so they can eat at the snack counter. You can feed a family of 4 for $6 at those places...including drinks!

If they served breakfast all day nobody would ever need to order anything but breakfast food.

Hells yes. I just did this 2 weeks ago at our local Costco. We spent like $13, incl. a few frozen yogurts for my family of 4. It was awesomely cheap. And good!
