None of that even matters. At all, and you know it. You were just offended because I called you lazy, which I am not about to back down from because emulation ISN'T for the lazy(however, I should note, it wasn't exactly aimed specifically at you, per se). If you want 100% perfection...well...go buy the system. You aren't going to get it on most if any. PCSX2 takes tinkering, not sure why you are trying to imply that it doesn't. (PS -- If you want to go gen to gen, PS2 emu was still out 2 years prior to Dolphin GC, but let's just continue to ignore the facts - and had stopped being worked on for 2-3 years. As for compatibility - I'm not clear on how accurate that is as I've yet to have any issues on GC side).
We could continue? I mean, you are defending your honor right? Let's go. I'm curious how you are playing games in PCSX2 w/o doing any tinkering. Considering I use it daily, I'd be happy to hear how that's going for you so you can illuminate the masses who need to. I'm sure they will be happy to hear.
I am lazy I don't care.
Defend my honor? I'm not a PC Gamer or anything I don't care about emulation at all. I don't identify myself as a gamer, or even discuss gaming on a regular basis so no, I don't care about what a user thinks about my capability of using an emulator is at all.
Simply pointing out facts since you've stated a blatant lie in almost each one of your posts so far.
Dolphin was started in 2002.
PCSX2 was started in 2003. That's a 1 year difference not 2 years.
PCSX2 has a compatibilty of 86%.
Dolphin has a compatibility of 9%, mostly comprising of WiiWare, NES ports, and emulating the Wii's basic functions. Majority of that 9% doesn't even include major gamecube releases.
Meanwhile, PCSX2 is compatible with 86% of it's library including most of the top titles with little to no tinkering requiring.
You seem to have a lot of trouble with numbers but I'll help you out. 86% is higher than 9%.
You've grasped at straws and used blatant lies to try to make yourself seem right. I wonder what pathetic attempt you'll use to defend your "OMG if you aren't willing to put up with below 10% compatibility then you shouldn't use an emulator!!!!!!!!!!" Really you sound pathetic though, what lowlife person is proud of going around telling people how great they are for getting a Gamecube/Wii emulator to work and telling people that if they aren't willing to spend a ton of time to get an EXTREMELY small library of games working that they shouldn't ever use an emulator. But hey, some people don't have many accomplishments to brag about, so if playing around with Dolphin is something you take pride in then I'm sorry to belittle it.
