Domain with IP-address?

One of my clients is causing troubles with a proxy. I know the IP of the machine, how can I find to which domain this machine belongs?
All of my RC5 clients are on friends machines, so if I know the dial-up domain, I at least have a clue which machine it can be.

nslookup <ipaddress>

Failing that, start looking for IPs in blocks of 64... i.e.

nslookup 192.168.0.1
nslookup 192.168.0.65
nslookup 192.168.0.129
nslookup 192.168.0.193

and then in blocks of 32.. it's very rare than any isp will have ip blocks smaller than 32.

Did you have to browse in blocks of IPs, or did the first one resolve just fine?

The first one was right, it was the proxy at work
