Domino's or Pizza Hut?

If you had to choose one over the other?

Pretty much anything but Dominos. I'm a fan of cheap pizza, but Dominos is barely edible. I'll take it if you give it to me free, but I'd rather have just about anything else.

My experience with Domino's is that the box tastes better than the pizza...Pizza Hut sucks, but is slightly better.

One problem with this question is that these places' products might taste extremely different in different parts of the world. For example, I was quite surprised that KFC in the US has a completely different menu and taste in America to the UK.

I used to love Pizza Hut in my teens and early tweens, but nowadays it seems to me like each topping has been individually fried, and so the meat feast tastes like a total grease-fest. I stopped eating Dominos after a few tries. I've eaten supermarket pizzas from frozen that taste miles better.

Shouldn't be eating either in Chicago.. but from what I remember growing up, Dominos didn't taste like much of anything. I think I only liked because that's what TMNT ate in the movie. Pizza Hut was OK from what I remember, but haven't had either in YYEEAARRS.

Papa Johns is just plain normal pizza. I have no idea why people are fans of "normal" pizza. It isn't super greasy or super tasty or super seasoned or super cheesy... it's just plain.

Tastes better than both Domino's or Pizza Hut, IMO. Though that's not saying much.

In India, Domino's is great, tastes really fresh, and isn't greasy. Pizza Hut on the other hand is horrible. The garlic bread is rock hard and dry, pizzas are greasy with the crust being way too thick and the sauce is a little too sweet.

You must not eat the crust. It's bitter, dry, with no redeeming flavor. They have to include those garlic sauces to make it edible. Domino's crust is loaded with spices and seasonings while Pizza Hut's spongy greasy crust is at least better than their bread sticks (and let's not forget the Stuffed Crust).

Presuming 'just go hungry' isn't an option... Around here, at least you can get a sandwich at Pizza Slut.

But around here, one can also get things like a white truffle cream and prosciutto pie, baked in a 900 degree wood fired oven.

Around here papa johns is a close 2nd to pizza hut for the fast food versions.

Papa johns cheese is not as good and they use so little toppings compared to pizza hut but still decent especially as the online ordering is what had me coming back to them when I used to use them for awhile.

Suppose it matters what kind you order as the pan version is probably the greasiest while the hand toss is a lot better but get one of each to balance it out.

I order papa johns online, then I have them bake it well done in the special options area, makes it better IMHO, the crunchyness is nice, and better than shit tier pizza hut or dominos.

Domino's has this garlic bread here which resembles the shape of breadsticks but comes stuffed with cheese, corn, honey, chicken and jalapeño topped off with herbs that smell great. Incredibly soft and tastes great with jalapeño or tarter-cheese dip :

It's my fav dish over at Domino's.



Pizza hut's garlic bread is more like a rusk and is incredibly hard :

I'm actually a huge fan of the sides at Domino's in India, especially the calzone, lesbian rolls and tacos (which differ from the traditional tacos - these come stuffed with a chicken pattice, jalapeno sauce/dressing and cheese. The outer shell is baked, porous and a little soft.)

I know I sound like a Domino's fanboy but it's actually really good here whereas I'd rather go hungry than eat at Pizza Hut. (I like their mousse though.)
