Domino's or Pizza Hut?

Slight edge to Domino's, but not enough to vote for. Domino's has a better pizza variety (especially BBQ chicken pizza) and online ordering setup. Pizza Hut has calzones and stuffed crust. I'm not a snob, there are better pizzas from smaller chains or certain regions, but either of these is passable.

Papa John's doesn't even register. Last time I had theirs I got a free sausage pizza from a work lunch and it was horrid to finish...I'm not a fan of wasting food but I should've reconsidered throwing it out. The 3-4 times I've had food there ranged from bland to god-awful, and they were from different stores each time.

Pizza Hut is a guilty pleasure of mine. I know it's greasy crap, but damn if I don't love the stuff. I only order it on very rare occasion, but I always enjoy it when I do.

Papa Johns is better than both of those, but they all suck pretty much.

i had pj for the first time in forever a while back. sauce was way too sweet. tasted like they dumped sugar corn syrup into the sauce. just gross.

Depends where you are, around here it's the only pizza from a chain that actually HAS a taste. Pizza hut is bland greasy shit, and dominos is just not good unless it's their artisan pizzas. Papajohns (again at least around here) are pretty much always fresh, good full crust, and tons of toppings, not to mention they actually have decent amount of sauce unlike pizzahut which comes with either 150% sauce or 50% sauce.

If I had to choose between the 3 big chains, in the DC metro area, papa johns wins, dominos is 2nd, pizza hut is 3rd.

Though honestly the pub 2 miles down the road from my house has 1/2 price pizza on monday and tuesday that is fucking awesome.

Pizza Hut used to be my favorite but their "new" bread which is much less oily put it in the crapper. Meanwhile Dominos went the other way so I'd go with them. Papa Johns is best among the 3 though.

Papa Johns is just plain normal pizza. I have no idea why people are fans of "normal" pizza. It isn't super greasy or super tasty or super seasoned or super cheesy... it's just plain.

What makes it "better?"

they load sugar into their tomato sauce. It's definitely sweeter than the others.

They were also the first, compared to those competitors, that would give you things like garlic butter for your crust, and pepperoncinis.

The cheese always seemed "better"
