As far as Trump is concerned whether it be taxes, making deals or playing a game, he has learned that he needs to cheat and cheat like his life depended on it because his inflated ego demands that he appears to be a winner no matter what "the game" is and that he has to cheat to make up for his lack of naturally gifted physical and reasoning abilities. In his mind, getting away with cheating is more thrilling and the real object of a game than actually winning a contest fair and square.
