Just playing devils advocate here, but if I were Donald Trump and assuming Trump will escape conviction by republicans in the senate, I would establish some kind of movement or party. And it looks like that is exactly what Trump is now planning, calling his movement THE PATRIOT PARTY. Then, as Donald Trump I would energize his base with the goal to take back the senate and house in the 2022 midterms. And I would push that goal by hinting of a run for president in 2024 should republicans take the house and senate in the midterms. I’m just saying, I don’t think that Donald Trump is going away anytime soon. And sadly enough, after the next year of the media becoming bored from covering president Joe Biden, sadly I believe the media would again fall into the trap of Donald Trump fixation. That would be easy for the media because covering Donald Trump means ratings, and ratings always comes first for the media. Joe Biden has entered a bit of a honeymoon period with the media but that can’t last long. In order to create ratings the media will be on Joe’s ass soon enough, and that will give republicans their opening for success with the midterms. Plus, handing Donald Trump his opening for the big comeback because 70 million of his base will demand it. Just my 2 cents worth.... Oh yes, I see dead people AND the comeback of Donald Trump and both scare me.

I am so sick of people playing nice.

All the shit would stop, with the first firing squad.

All the insurrectionists, and seditionists need to be put up in front of a brick wall, and catch one to the brainpan.

He’s going to be signing blank pieces of paper and talking on his phone that only connects with the outer office. The question is: which child will take advantage of his declining mental condition and have the will changed to screw their siblings like he did. I can’t see Trump putting in the effort to start up a newsletter, or even a blog. I'm not sure he even knows what a blog is.

If he can get 10% of his 75 million followers to pay $100/year for a Motley Fool style weekly newsletter, that’s $750 MILLION per year. The first year alone pays off all the debt with money to spare. If you’re willing to sell your soul (and lots of people are). That’s assuming whatever fuckup or grifter he hires to run the show does not either piss the money away or steal it first. I'm assuming the “loyalists” are only loyal because there is money to be skimmed, stolen, grifted. If the Trump organization wants to buy a 1$ pencil: Someone will borrow 1500$, take 1000$ out of petty cash, try to declare 5000$ for tax refunds and pay the store 0$. Annd ... Don’t forget the 10% off the top for The Big Guy.

Thank you for very accurately describing the past four years that Trump was running his grifting business out of the West Wing and now that he's orphaned a whole lot of those corrupted leeches that got as spoiled as their crime lord is, they'll be out and about doing their leeching elsewhere until another Trump comes along to gather them up again and lead the nation in another looting spree of our nation's treasure..

Although I agree with the idea of him using this as a money making scheme, he doesn't have that many followers. The vast majority of that 75 million who voted for him are the same dumbshit republican voters who voted for him the first time around. They are the party-line voters, the anti-Joe crowd, the people who don't pay attention at all to what happened during the administration, the truth deniers, etc., etc. It is why the republican voters are a lost cause and there is no way they are ever going to stop being ignorant dumbfucks.

That said, he probably has more like 300Million to glean from the real shit-stains of society.

The same people that will rent out their sisters for a party, or sell their trailer in order to give the money to him.

The word pathetic doesn't even begin to describe these people.

So evidently Trump appointed a shit ton of people to various posts throughout the executive branch after election day. Some in the last week of his presidency. Just to be an ass, I guess.

Biden is trying to get rid of them but some are actually challenging his authority to terminate them in court? What is this bullshit?

there's always the option of moving them to do-nothing positions (though for trump appointees, they might actually like that).

My wife thinks they're spying on the administration and reporting back to Trump. Possibly. When they move them to do nothing positions, they also need to physically segregate them from everyone else and limit their computer access to solitaire, minesweeper and Hello Kitty Online.

Every one of Trump's appointees should be escorted out of their offices wearing white cone hoods, being ridden out on a rail, tiki torches lighting the way as a symbolic gesture of how the Trump admin. condoned and gave prominence to those racist organizations of America of whom should never again raise their ugly heads in insurrection against The People's fairly and freely elected leaders.

Isn't this just lovely?

Trump’s lie that the election was stolen has cost$519 million(and counting) as taxpayers fund enhanced security, legal fees, property repairs and more

The expenditures include legal fees prompted by dozens of fruitless lawsuits, enhanced security in response to death threats against poll workers, and costly repairs needed after the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol. That attack triggered the expensive massing of thousands of National Guard troops on the streets of Washington amid fears of additional extremist violence.

I know it is a couple years old but I just watched Trump: An American Dream and thought it was well done. Anyone else catch this doc on Netflix? My recollection of Trump was he was a moronic blowhard in the 80s and 90s but did not recall him having the hateful attack mentality back then. Maybe because I grew up on the west coast but I mistakenly though that was something he picked up as he got older.
