I'm just happy to see Donnie and I finally agree on something. I didn't want him to be President either.

read the history today, It was good and I laughed a lot when the Murdoch called the Donald. At one point he invited Joe and Mika and asked them to marry in Mar o Lago. I tell you the truth I started to get Trump fatigue with this guy. He put us a level with Evil King Jun from North Korea with his stupid tweets.

This is basically a South Park episode. He runs to be a sort of rabble rouser and goes "oh shit" when he actually wins, but then transforms into the DJT we all now and love today in a Star Wars inspired scene.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEgqS30XQ1s

I find the use of Caitlyn Jenner a little distasteful in this string of episodes though. She's a strong beautiful woman and doesn't deserve any of this, she deserves our love and admiration for being a pillar of female empowerment. God bless her.
Are you serious? Caitlyn is an idiot.

Yea, he just campaigned for the fun of it, wasted an incredible amount of time and resources to lose. This is a stupid thread. America is better off with him in office. This is just more liberals being the new conservatives with their belief in wild conspiracy theories that fit their agenda.
in the thread about the state of the union, you said it yourself when you said Dems will give him what he wants. he craves fame, attention, money, power.....he getting it.

Transgender GOP supporting Trump voter? Should have spent a little extra so the operation included a brain upgrade.
Transgender Republican in general boggles my mind. Belonging to a party who won't have you?

I have a "conservative" gay friend I have begun telling him that I just won't believe he's that stupid. I put quotes on conservative because he's not really. It's just that he was raised in a strict religious home and his idiosyncrasies tell him he has to be a conservative but I've known him for years and he most certainly is not.

I am literally amazed that you lot are trying to argue anything with SlowSpyder. You know his M.O., so just ignore him and move on.

- edit - no doubt I'll be baited by him into responding to something idiotic / blatantly false that he posts at some point in the future, so feel free to remind me that I've said this.

Ah, shaddup and have a cigar!

I'm gonna give in and assume this is all legit, but A bit of a warning about the author of this book.

" 2004 New Republic profile of Wolff meanwhile noted that “the scenes in his columns aren’t recreated so much as created—springing from Wolff’s imagination rather than from actual knowledge of events.” The same piece quoted an editor who worked with Wolff as saying “his great gift is the appearance of intimate access. He is adroit at making the reader think that he has spent hours and days with his subject, when in fact he may have spent no time at all.” A 1998 article about Wolff’s book Burn Rate surfaced Wednesday by writer Brad Plumer notes that several of the subjects of the book say Wolff “invented or changed quotes” that were attributed to them...

For the record, New York says in an editor’s note that Wolff’s work is based on hundreds of “conversations and interviews” that were conducted with Trump and “most members of his senior staff.” And to be clear, I don’t know for sure that Steve Bannon didn’t call the Trump Jr. Russia meeting “treasonous” or that Sam Nunberg didn’t really only get through 40 percent of the Bill of Rights before the president got bored. But I do know Michael Wolff is notorious for making provocative claims without backing them up—and that he was once described by one of his own editors as having no skill greater than creating the “appearance” of knowing things he does not in fact know.

If true, this excerpt is a doosy...

"Trump liked to say that one of the things that made life worth living was getting your friends wives into bed. In pursuing a friends wife, he would try to persuade the wife that the husband was perhaps not what she thought. Then he'd have his secretary ask the friend into his office; once the friend arrived, Trump would engage in what was, for him, more or less constant sexual banter. Do you like having sex with your wife? How often? You must have had a better fuck than your wife? Tell me about it. I have girls coming in from Los Angeles at three o'clock. We can go upstairs and have a great time. I promise...And all the while, Trump would have his friend's wife on the speakerphone, listening in."

Lol, gross...

not necessarily...that hilary hate is strong, we could speculate all night about what it would've been like had he lost...i certainly dont think it would've been pretty. hes not a gracious winner, and even less so as a loser.

I remember there being quite a bit of speculation during the election season that Trump didn't WANT the presidency, just that he wanted to campaign for it...for the fame, money, and enjoyment...
I keep hoping he'll come to his senses and resign... (and, yes, I know that would make Pence the President, but as fucked-up as he is, he's still more rational than Donny-boy.)

This thread delivers guys, keep um coming. Trump didn't want to be president, he's starting his own SS, rumor is he is firing Mueller... a week ago, etc. etc.

Do you just not care that the author of this book was given highly privileged access to WH, staff, and advisers by Trump himself, to the campaign and to the administration?

Do you not care that all of this was direct information from the very people that were involved in all of this?

Is that just not relevant to you? What do you have left, now, that you have determined reality can not be real, and the only facts are the facts you invent to make yourself feel safe? You ra ra ra for a grown child that was shitting his pants the moment it looked like he was going to win this presidency, because it has been shown again and again and again that this was all nothing more than a stunt to promote his Trump brand. That's all he wanted, and the dude and his family are fucking miserable, incompetent criminals.

How will it feel inside when you see your new heroes get sent off to jail for money laundering and obstruction of justice? How will that make you feel? You can be honest, for once.

Is this the new rightie insult, calling Liberals the New Conservatives? Gotta get our expert on self hate to explain that to us.

Well obviously. They think they're being fiendishly clever, because they know that liberals just hate conservatives, so calling them one has to be the biggest insult. Except that anyone above about 5 years old that isn't a conservative can see through such a fuckwitted attempt.

But then just watch them, they'll fling insults and rage about people "can't take a joke" or are too uptight, but it doesn't take long before they show they can't handle even mild insults that are less than the ones they dole out.

Are you serious? Caitlyn is an idiot.

I'm pretty sure he was referencing a quote from the show, that a character ended up saying after being berated over not adding their voice to the chorus of support for her.

It does indeed, but then, that sums up most Republican voters these days, because their party regularly shits on them, just like they shit on LGBTQ people.

The saddest thing about situations like that is that they'll go out of their way to spite themselves in order to hold that bubble.

So are you saying this book could be the liberal version of "Clinton Cash"? Small nuggets of truth woven with fabrications to create a sensationalist hit piece??

Interesting that Bannon would be behind both books...

interesting that Bannon is now the fount of eternal truth when he was nothing but a racist rightwing shill during and after the election. Well, he is a right wing shill and not a particularly good person in my opinion. But it is humorous to me to see the left wing statists falling over themselves with this new story by Bannon, nee hated and reviled now a hero.

Who on the left is calling Bannon a hero?

Please cite examples of this.

He's a racist pile of warm garbage.
