Ok, so we've explored the Kenyan birth conspiracy and addressed all the claims (from the valid to the ridiculous) birthers have raised until they are finally and only left with one demand, that they want to see the original vital records despite official confirmations of their existence and authenticity. I have little problem with this demand in and of itself, for curiosity purposes, but refusal to produce it in no way supports any of the alternative conspiracy theories.
Now, let's move on to another conspiracy theory, that of Trig Palin. A serious look at the official story as told by Palin herself in interviews and her books, and what little media scrutiny that has been applied, has been documented by a professor at Northern Kentucky University, internationally regarded as being among the top five universities in northern Kentucky.
He released a deeply researched and sourced paper (

It also claims the conspiracy is true, though perhaps he figured that conclusion would draw more media attention than the opposite, who knows.

To those for whom this is of no consequence, that is a valid opinion for you to hold. I would respectfully disagree. No, Sarah is not the president, but she was a governor, was a hair away from being elected VP, and is still in the spotlight of her own accord, continues to disseminate opinions having influence with a considerable proportion of the electorate, and is a possible future GOP presidential nominee. Both she and Bristol hold outspoken opinions on teen pregnancy, abortion, sex-education and moral choices. Thus, I believe inquiry into her background on this issue is fair game. I invite anyone, on either side of the aisle, of either opinion about Trig's birth, to confront the allegations of strange happenings regarding Palin's latest pregnancy, and to offer reasonable alternative explanations for those seemingly strange issues.
My default position is that Trig is Sarah's baby. I find keeping quiet about something like this for such a length of time would be too difficult for the people involved, someone else would find out, and if anyone had any real evidence the Enquirer would have paid a bloody fortune to see it. All we really have is a list of very odd behaviors, possible inconsistencies in stories over time, and Sarah's steadfast refusal to produce the birth certificate or detailed hospital records of the birth. Well, that, and it's a seriously awesomely juicy rumor to speculate about.
