You are supposed to stay in line with what you were ELECTED for.

If you were elected under the premise of people voting for you after you say "I will defend the sanctity of marriage" and then 7 years later say "Gay people deserve their rights too!" then you are FLIP FLOPPING.

I understand what your saying, but you can't change what people voted for you for in the middle of your term. It's like a democrat that was elected to help the middle class and then starts advocating for trickle down.

No, they say what they have to so they win the election. After that they are going to do what they want to because they are the President. You can hope that they will keep their campaign promises but once they have won they are going to do what they want to do. Sometimes that can be good and other times it can be bad, but I would never consider electing someone who was so rigid that they would never change their mind about something. That's just nuts. Can you point me to just one President who didn't change their mind about something during their Presidency?

Hell, some of them even lost their mind during their Presidency...lol!

Ohh gawd no, he was wrong on a couple statements. My statement was relative, compared to the other losers running he has been far more truthful.

Most of those statements were some hyperbole, mainly founded in truth. As far as the statements.

1. The number fluctuates, seems like it is down from the highs.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/1576/abortion.aspx

2. The nuclear arsenal is old - wasn't there recently some work to modernize it?

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/22/us/us-ramping-up-major-renewal-in-nuclear-arms.html?_r=0

3. US Car manufacturers have a very difficult time in Japan and most manufacturers are outright ripped off in China. Both of these countries engage in unilateral trade.

4. If you stripped out marginally attached workers, part time who want full time, and discouraged workers, added back in those who have fallen out of the workforce, his number might not be that far off.

5. No idea where he was going here.

His statements on Latinos are quite accurate. The FBI crime database doesn't strip out Latinos but puts them into whites. Why?

If you strip out Latinos from Chicago crime stats you get Whites only committing 10% of murders as opposed to 26%. You also get stuff like MS-13, other drug runners, gangs, rapists (thousands deported out of texas).

Fuck, we had this guy deported 9 times.

http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2010/05/illegal-alien-rapist-deported-9-times/

But I guess the US doesn't have enough legal, domestic, drug runners, gang members, and rapists, so we need to import more.

But hey, let's just ignore his point that the border needs to be closed, now, and let's send people who come here *ILLEGALLY* back to where they came from.

But no, the pussified liberal PC fucksticks want to keep them all here.

What's a little odd about what you're saying there is that for the longest time now, I haven't seen any legislation coming out of the Repub House and Senate requiring a round-up of illegals and the building of an impregnable wall along our southern border. I hear them all of the time railing against immiration reform, but they aren't doing anything about the problem either.

I guess the Repubs in Congress are pussies too huh?

edit - To bring my post on topic, I'd very much like to hear from Trump exactly what he'd do to get those millions of illegal latino criminals that he's harping on about out of the country.....permanently.

That should be pretty interesting, don't ya think?

Funny, I don't see conservative sites running g continual hit pieces on him...

Not to mention, a lot of those conservatives not pussified are concerned about being branded a racist like the pc brigade are doing to trump now, despite facts being on his side.

Sure, a but hypocritical but does that detract from the main point?

Is he correct or not?

I was talking about his 2012 comments, while on Letterman.

His comments were that China manipulates their currency, which is why we can't compete with them and why we can't keep jobs in the U.S.

No. We can't keep jobs in the U.S. because people like Trump are sending jobs to China.

So, he is incorrect in why we can't keep jobs in the U.S., because he is the cause of the problem.

I am no more a hypocrite than he is since i also rail on china's currency manipulation. I buy China stuff, even though I often go out of my way (and money) to buy American.

After all, if people wouldn't buy it, trump wouldn't sell it.

It is the wal mart problem. Everybody wants to save a buck.

And that's a problem? People shouldn't make rational choices regarding what they consume including taking into account the price of the products available for purchase?

The problem is that the "Saved" buck is only because the savings are through currency manipulation that artificially lowers costs. Not only does this make our goods uncompetitive but it also has secondary, tertiary...etc effects from the wealth multiplier. Thus the current problem, nobody can afford but to buy chinese goods because all of the American jobs that used to make those same goods are gone. You have pauperized the country in the name of short-term profits.

Furthermore, this screed, perpetuated and propegandized by the mainstream media, Wall St., and stock analysts, forgets to mention that the marginal cost of US production is *NOT* uncompetitive by much. Once you strip out currency manipulation, it isn't competitive at all.

The only way they have been able to maintain this is by buying American assets with the foreign currency reserves while printing more money domestically. Had they had a floated currency the buildup of FCRs would have strengthened the currency, eliminating the arbitrage. Instead, they kept it pegged, printed internally, and reaped the benefits of a bootstrapped economy on the backs of the US middle class.

Float the Renminbi and watch how fucked China becomes overnight.

But it's no surprise people like you, who hate America, wouldn't want to actually listen to Trump and know the truth. You're just a fucking tool.

Urgle burgle...if you don't want Donald Trump as your President, you hate America.

No, fucking seriously (first time I've used the word fuck on this forum). If you don't want Donald Trump as President, you hate America!!!!!

I fucking quote (second time):

"But it's no surprise people like you, who hate America, wouldn't want to actually listen to Trump and know the truth. You're just a fucking tool."

WOW!

Do you have two working neurons to rub together?!

Holy. Fucking. Shit.

I'll ignore the fact that you think Trump is some fountain of truth and instead just ask you what do you think Trump can do to stop China? Tariffs which hurt the poor and middle-class because they can't afford to pay more for just about every thing they need?

Its funny that someone that is stupid enough to think Trump is worth electing somehow believes they can call others a tool. Racist garbage like you are worthless. Get the fuck out of the country and take your family with you, we have enough trash.

Orwell summed up a shitbag like you...

In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act

I have no problem with LEGAL immigrants from any country who come here, abide by our laws, integrate, and bring positive contribution to our society. In fact, I actively encourage and embrace it. Why? Because that's where a lot of innovation and evolution of thought comes from. Many of the "dying" societies are developed ones who don't encourage LEGAL immigrants to come and add.

Why can't the poor and middle class afford to pay more?

BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO FUCKING JOBS. JFC, you guys are goddamn blind.

We traded millions upon millions of decent paying jobs for a few pennies of savings at Wal Mart because Wal Mart and other companies said it was for our own good. We don't need those crappy paying manufacturing jobs, we need STEM! Everybody go to college, sign up for $30k in loans for a degree that you can't use while we offshore STEM jobs to India like Disney did.

Do you not see the problem in this?

We traded stock analyst Buy Recommendations for short-term gains for the wealthy while hollowing out the middle class who need to shop at Wal Mart because they are now stuck working at Wal Mart rather than building Briggs and Stratton engines or cars or water heaters or refrigerators or cold rolled steel.

Don't you find it rather ironic that the "We" you're referring to is guys exactly like Trump?

As Jon Stewart said: hypocrites like Donald Trump are why GOP won’t win the marriage equality debate. But why is anyone talking about Trump ? He has as much chance of winning the Presidency as we do finding a Playboy magazine in Elton John's house.

No, what I find ironic is that the political leadership of this country, you know, the ones who call themselves "American" and work for America, are the ones who don't even mention this at all. Has Hillary talked about it? Nope. Jeb? Nope. Billy Bob? Nope.

Why? Because, unlike Trump, their future income depends on them continually whoring out this country and fucking over the middle class for them to be able to get $500k for each speaking engagement in foreign countries while bringing in backroom influence peddling deals and revolving door bullshit.

Then you get the shitbags on here saying "Well, this is good, we need China's manipulated currency, it makes Wal Mart goods cheaper!". This massively ignorant viewpoint, parroted by the ruling class, is what is the most ironic thing of all. The people who claim to be so enlightened have no fucking clue they are being assraped by their own employees.

What's truly ironic is that we'd vote for anybody who doesn't make this the #1 priority. America First, always.
