Why? Why would you encourage bad management? It's like the Pirates. They have no reason to get better because they still make a profit. Even though the stadium is only 10% full, they still make a profit because all the tax payers are the ones paying their rent. Up their rent and I bet they try to sell more seats. A true fan would realize that and boycott the team until they made an effort to get better.

If the red skins (or lions, or any other team) make a profit while sucking because people still go to games and watch them on TV and buy merchandise, then they have no reason to pay more $$ to improve talent of players and coaches/management.

If I were a true fan, I would start boycotting a team if I thought they were making no effort to improve

you know absolutely nothing about football apparently, since you think the skins aren't paying $$ to try and improve talent on the team.

They suck. Lost to the worst team in the league which makes them even worse.

F the Redskins

Keep your chin up - you will probably beat my even-shittier Bucs next weekend.

granted, the skins have looked like complete ass this season, they are making progress on the offensive side as far as moving the ball.

the skins are in a rebuilding phase right now. this is the 2nd year they've had consistency in a long long time. they aren't going to go 16-0, get with reality. their 6-2 start last year was somewhat of a fluke too.

im just as frustrated as the next skins fan, but skins for life here.

Dude did u watch the Rams game? There ain't no rebuiliding that kinda play.

We have been rebuilding since the early 90's!

How long do you think it takes?

Campbell isn't a franchise QB. Until we get one we are in a never ending rebuild.

yes i watched the game, i watch them all and am going to the bucs game sunday.

if you think campbell is the #1 problem you are kidding yourself. you can see improvements already this season in his game. sure, he is not the next tom brady or manning, but given the opportunity he is very solid.

the problems on this team stem from the top down.

i mean the offense had the ball for 8 minutes yesterday in the first half ... EIGHT MINUTES, and that was AFTER an opening drive that took the skins down to the 1yd line of the lions, which probably ate up like 5-6 minutes of the clock (i dont remember). portis had -3 rushing yards at the half as well.

then the lions went 99yds on the skins defense, and ran another 95yd drive after that.

it's okay dude, you have a case of the mondays just like every other skins fan.

PO is a fair weather fan. There is no arguing that point.
That being said, fair weather fans are the worst.

Man law states that you can't back out of your team or change allegiances. Even if the team is bad. Suck it up.

I think that the Lions, the Pirates, and the 1970s Bucs all deserved exceptions. If Al Davis lives to 100, the Raiders should also be included.

I think its funny people are bringing up that the Bronco's are 3-0! Wait until they are about 10 games into the season and are 4-6. Kyle Orton as the QB hahahahah!!!

hot damn, that's my team!

I followed them back when they were on a "hot streak" I'm trying to remember the awesome running back they had. Also trying to remember how old I was.

At least the Redskins have a lot of history and have won Super Bowls. I, being a Houston fan have had none of the above and at this rate I'll be pushing up daisies when they do. With the exception of my '94 & '95 Rockets, the words "World Champions" still belongs to other cities and will for the foreseeable future too. It's kind of like having children with disabilities, you've gotta love 'em just the way they are. And my Houston teams definitely have permanent disabilities, namely the owners of the franchises. :brokenheart:

Suck it up. At least they still have Cooley...

Portis looks old and worn out though.

Ok yeah the whole team is just a mess.
