Was a thread recently in the GPU forum, ancient thread like 19 years old, that got Necro'd be a new poster who posted his solution like a happy puppy.
Couple things:
1) Randomly necro'd threads are weirdly serendipitous and can sometimes highlight the cyclical nature of the industry or our discussions around those topics.
2) They're fun, especially for the old timers who might have posted in those threads or remember now deactivated members who did.
3) They ain't hurtin' nobody, Lester. It's not like the AT forums are so busy that new relevant topics are getting pushed off the front page cause of all these random necro'd threads. Adds a bit of spice to the forums.
IMO let them be.
Better still, mods should randomly Necro some 20 year old thread from time to time (Monthly?) for laughs and giggles. Would sound a lot better than all the geriatric wheezing around the place now
