Good stuff = stuff that requires a huge amount to die from.
Examples: weed, mushrooms, etc.
Bad stuff = stuff that you can die from given just a small amount to cause an overdose.
Examples: Coke (heart attack), Heroin (easy to OD and die), etc.
The 'bad stuff' examples are outliers. If cocaine caused tons of heart attacks, Hollywood would be deserted. It actually takes a relatively long time to die from a heroin overdose. Most of the 'hit up and die' examples are caused by the stuff used to cut the heroin, just another example of the illegality of it all increasing the deadliness. There might be other reasons to be strict, but that one is not quite all there.
People that OD on heroin typically do so when they don't know what they have. It doesn't need to be a "controlled" substance, it needs to be a regulated substance.I've personally known 2 people that died of heroin OD's. It's not that hard to overdose on, and a dose that's good for one person can be fatal to another. I'm not trolling and am dead serious; going to funerals isn't fun and neither is losing people when they're still in their late teens / early 20's. It needs to stay a controlled substance no matter what. I've also personally known people that had their lives cut short by cocaine use.
On the other hand, I've never heard or known anybody that has died from weed.
This is a false proposition. She had access to pot and smoked it regularly by news reports.
Only some of these salts are "fake pot." They are a different class of drugs and you are deluding yourself if you think people would not smoke them if pot were available. That is like saying you wouldn't smoke pot if alcohol was available, or you wouldn't do shrooms if pot was available.

heroin od's are pretty common, when i was into that i landed myself in the hospital twice... it was all about the potency of the gear that was around... sometimes you'd get some weak stuff, sometimes you get some literally, "killer" stuff...
for clarification, i oded once on fentanyl, and once on actual heroin..

in fact when i was into that stuff, i would prefer to get oxycontin 80's, for that very reason, alot of times the quality of the opiate was better than the diamorph on the street, and it was always a for sure dosage, i could split 1 pill out into two dosages in a day, and my keep my tolerance under control that way/ and not accidently od..

Yea I was there when you were really addicted and was getting arrested doing dumb shit. I'm really happy for you to be able to kick that shit. Never good to be addicted to anything other than God.
It's fine to have an opinion. Just try to understand the other side's viewpoint also. Then you can choose after knowing. Don't make choices only because of emotions and general popular feelings. That always lead down the wrong road.
