What we have learned here is that no matter the circumstances, if a minority is even looked at wrong by a white cop, it is obviously police brutality.
What we have learned here is that no matter what, if only 1 out 1000 cops overstep their bounds, then the entire U.S. police force is corrupt. Because racism, obviously.
What we have learned here that no matter how stupid a perp might be in not listening to common sense simple instructions from a law enforcement official, it is still obviously always the cops fault for the perps lack of common sense.
Yes, there are some bad cops out there. Yes, they need to be dealt with appropriately and immediately. Yes, on occasion some bad stuff happens to an innocent/semi-innocent civilian that shouldn't have happened otherwise.
But we also have bad bus drivers, school teachers, waitresses, husbands, wives, children, etc etc...
But I don't here anyone stating absurd generalizations that most or all of these people are awful racists, and burn down their neighborhoods and give themselves license to just act like jackasses for a couple of days.
No matter what your color or race, follow an officers instructions, act respectful (i.e. don't be a jackass), and don't give that officer a reason to believe you are going to act aggressively. Chances are mighty good that he/she will appreciate it at treat you with similar respect, even if they have to haul you in.
At that point, any complaints can be filed afterwards.
But thats obviously too simple for some. And doesn't make for good material by the race-baiters...
