Dorm Room Chairs

Do any of you guys have any really comfortable or interesting chairs for your dorm. I'm looking for one to get for when I go back next semester. Links would be appreciated.

Just get a simple office chair at staples or a similar store. Great for your desk, watching TV, sittin' around or whatever.

Office chairs suck for watching TV!

I saw an ad for one of those round chairs, that unfolds, at Target for like $20. I think they are called dish chairs or something.

Problem with those big chairs is that they are a pain in the ass to move because they don't break down very easily. Look for one that breaks down completely, otherwise it becomes a very akward thing to haul back when you're done.

Yea, I love those ones, but I definitely can't bring that into my room. Not only would it suck to move, but it just wouldn't fit.

I'd say get a handful of those lawn chair like thingies that you can get for $20. They fit into a 6" diameter sleeve and are about 3 feet tall. They work great when you have people over to watch movies but fold away nicely. They aren't really that bad for your back, and they're 200x better than the stock dorm chair anyway - at least, ours.

I hate my desk chair

I want one of those big black leather exec chairs that tilts back 45 degrees and makes you feel like your going to fall over...

Damn they are comfy!

You can also find some well-broken in chairs at thrift stores for like $20 (oftentimes less) The best part is that when you are done with it at the end of the year, you just throw it away.

I have two of those bowl chairs, they are good for when girls are over, they seem to like them ok, I scored that leather chain on black friday from CC, its good for watching tv, and the reclining feature is good for other things heh. After those we have the two computer chairs, and the ottoman which is ok for a girl to sit on, then the bed, can't get much more than 15 or 17 people in here tho (small dorms at UF lol)

What you don't like the chairs they provide? The ones twhere your butt is 8 inches off the ground and it feels like your ass it gonna kill you. Those are the greatest.
Usually you can get a leather chair for $100 sometimes at the office places with coupon or rebate.
