Skeleton King is basically the definition of strong, noob friendly, melee strength hero. Chaos Knight has a little more versatility, but is still pretty simple to play.
Nice i will check those out tonight when i get home.

Pretty new to this type of game watched some youtube stuff before i jumped in. I started with Drow Hunter. Still getting a handle on how to upgrade and spend points. I like its mostly a passive built champion. For the frost arrow, is it a active abilty that toggles on with Q, or do i need to hit Q each time to use it? Was a bit confused when trying to use the life steal helm.
I know, I've been playing Dota and Dota 2 forever. I just find Axe incredibly boring to play. Adding to that is his role as a tank initiator that's very dependent on other people doing the big damage late game. Getting grouped up with people that can barely understand a recipe just makes it incredibly frustrating.
Axe is one of my favorites. I never jungle, and get a soul ring with tranquils for Battle Hunger. My favorite match was when I had a Bloodstone and Aghs. Unlimited mana for Culling Blades on everything.
Just wanted to ask what the deal with "it is now safe to leave" is. The other day somebody from my team rage quit and it said "it is now safe to leave and everybody in my team quit. Sobi fid too. I dunno whether it counted as a loss. Does it? If it doesn't, then won't this feature be abused?

Wow, I am so tired of being teamed up with all non-English speaking players who are terrible. I think I need to quit this game.
All games that be played so far have resulted in someone getting super super fed and it almost becomes impossible to kill them. How do you go against a level 25 Bloodseeker when you're level 15? The life steal on him is out of this world. Super carries almost always mean a victory. Although I think this happens way too much in Dota just because I'm in the noob bracket.

Not many games that inspire the type of rage that dota does.
To go against a level 25 Blood Seeker you need your whole team to focus on him, try to catch him off guard by himself, or have more than half your team focus on him in team battles. He only gets life steal if he or someone on his team kills you or your teamate in a 275AOE...
If you go against a team that has 2 or more super carries, you must end the game between the 30minute to 40 minute mark... even if you don't have the side towers taken down, just go straight down the middle after a counter attack or killing 3+ of their team mates... after the 40 minute mark hard/super carries will take over the game due to gold farming/items.
He is correct in that the situation he described happens more at lower levels, that bloodseeker was probably also a far better player than everyone else - and at a higher level the other team should have a similar hard carry hero to counter him.
I now have 2 treasure of the forbidden lotus and no effing key.

or split push....or push earlier...or gank heavy...or go for team fight heroes
You have to buy the keys, just like crates for TF2.
Yep. I have a million locked chests. Probably never going to open any of them. I like DOTA 2, and I like Valve, but I'm not going to pay for a *chance* at a completely cosmetic item I might not even want. POE does micro transactions right, IMO.

So am I crazy or does Valve actually require you to buy access to observing tournament games...
