Last time I checked you can do a custom game 1v1.
Ya, actually it is a real indication of skill. Its an indication of how good you are 1v1.
You understood nothing of what I said.

Really? Want to 1v1 me in LoL?
Im not saying Ill win but Im curious how good you are since you are so sure of yourself.
Another thing I dont like about Dota2 is how zoomed in the map is vs the range of ranged units. Towers are really bad.

I will 1 vs 1 against you in DOTA 2... heck I will be a gentleman and even let you pick first!
I am pretty sure Dota 2 1v1 is standard Shadow Fiend. At least, in HoN, it is Soul Stealer (basically same hero). You either go first kill or first to lose tower.
And in LoL it is pointless for a non level 30 player to be challenged by a level 30 player. You can't even have an even playing field. Great competitive game.
Cool. Maybe after I learn to play it Ill take you up on that. But for now Ill stick to 1v1 LoL.
Oh, so I have to learn a game to 1v1 you, but you won't do a neutral game. I don't play much Dota 2. In fact, I haven't played in awhile. So, it will be our similar game backgrounds that propel our skill in said game. So, if you want to 1v1 in Dota 2, I will. If you want to 1v1 in HoN, I'd do that as well.
Measuring of e-peens is always amusing. Especially when someone pulls the 'Let me 1v1 you' card to try to justify how right or awesome they are. Reminds me of those 12 year olds on xbox. And 1v1 sort of defeats the purpose of Dota 2, imo.
You know you have reached maximum rage when they want to 1v1 you.
I always type this in the game too. It makes them explode beyond belief.
The trick is to try and get them mad enough to leave to 1v1 you right away. That is always the best. I do that in HoN as often as possible.
Back in Garena days I would actually accept the 1v1 challenge. Most newbies don't understand the snowball effect. If I had a bad game and they rage challenge me to 1v1 thinking I'm bad. I would accept and utterly destroy them.
It's amazing how quiet they become in 1v1 because raging online is pointless without audience (or watching them ragequit 1v1 without saying a word).
Lol, I thought my post might get the fanboys fired up, and I was right. Seriously dude, stop being such a fanboy, its a video game calm down. Yes, Im quite familiar with where LoL and Dota2 came from, I was probably playing WC3 while you were suckling on your mommy's teet.
So youre saying you can do key modifiers?
awesome guide for animation canceling... beware, it is almost useless against noobs

this video, IMO, is why, dota is the best "moba" out there
Woo Merlini (dat Zeus)
I would say even most medium skill players will not be baited by animation cancelling, still useful to know how to do though.
Created a new Steam account just to have an account that I only solo queue on so I can better gauge my individual performance. It's interesting. I've played 6 games now. First was in the normal tier, then 4 in the high tier, and the last in very high. I didn't realize it would be possible to raise tier so quickly. It's interesting, too, because these games have the least amount of "noobness" and no one has more than 25-30 wins. I suppose there must be an algorithm to separate the smurfs from the true noobs.

It might factor in all kinds of things. GPM, APM, kills, deaths, assists. Even items built. How many new players build a BKB? I would wager very few.
Lol I think you guys are over-thinking this. Your uncertainty is high when you've had 0 games played so a W/L affects your 'rating' more. If you go 5-0 or even 5-1 it's going to move you around a lot more than doing so after 500 games played.
