I set a new PR today of 420 lbs. I weighed 209 lbs this morning so I am still in the club!

I am trying to work up to 5 plates.
Nice pull, especially with no belt (back was starting to round slightly). Just be careful with that back, you only get one.I set a new PR today of 420 lbs. I weighed 209 lbs this morning so I am still in the club!

I was bored so I put the list in spreadsheet form: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?page=view&resid=E4C93722B0FCC58E!544963&authkey=!ADXB9kzfvZjEwzg
Added, welcome to the club!I have no idea what I will be capable of, or if I decide to pursue strength over speed. Was hoping to do masters (35+) track this year along with my son, but I ended up with a sports hernia (athletic pubulga) and that is proving to be a difficult thing to heal from. Definitely a ligament/tendon partial tear as I can really feel it. I injured it 6 weeks ago, and it is 80% healed. Not sure it will heal in time, thus my plans may ditch and if so, then I'll be focused on strength training.
That said, I am currently at a 375 DL @ 175ish BW (No belt, straps, etc...) If muscle memory proves true getting back up to the mid 400's should happen relatively quickly, but as age progresses, so does recovery... We shall see.
I also may pick up a belt. I know Mark Rippetoe recommends one once you get in the 300+ range. I just never used one. Maybe it is a pride thing from doing Olympic Style lifting when I was younger, not sure.
Anyhow... Just put me down for 375 @ 180 for now. I could easily cut to mid 160's in a day and perform the same weight (I did it month ago), but I want to give myself some room to exploit those numbers in the future
Great thread, BTW. Some of you guys are beasts.
 addedToday I did 315x4, belt, wraps, deadstop between reps @ 154lbs. Yes, I can easily do this with a mixed grip but i really prefer DO grip.
Nice job man. How much more are you going to cut?I "renewed my vows" to the club today I am 6 weeks into a hard cut and down 15 pounds. I pulled 405 at 197.4 this afternoon.
Awesome job edro! W00t. Added.Count me in!
340 @ 167, 3 reps
No straps or belts; just chalk and a mixed grip.
I don't deadlift every week, and usually max out at 3 plates (315) for 8-10 reps.
I have never 1RM before because deadlift scares me.
I'm not sure I would stop myself before injury.
Nice job man. How much more are you going to cut?
Sick pull. 600 should be in the cards for ya. Great stuff, we are at similar Wilks' scores.
Eh that was right before I moved to Germany. Keeping a good schedule is near impossible in my new company and I work way too much.Sick pull. 600 should be in the cards for ya. Great stuff, we are at similar Wilks' scores.
Great job, will be looking forward to your 405 lift. 4 biscuits! Squat, you are close as well. Keep hitting those pause squats and bulgarian splits accessory and that should get you there. Oh, and weighted abs. Finally pulled 385 a couple days ago at 190# without really trying for a PR (was a set of 7-5-3-1 and decided to go 10# higher than last PR). I think I've probably got 400# in me.
Squat is at 345, probably capable of 355+. Hoping for close to 2X BW by end of the year.
