Double image in Crysis

Hi everyone,

I am running win7 32 bit in my system. I got a new xfx HD5770 with latest 10.3 drivers and decided to fire it up and try crysis for the visual and began to notice that my hand and weapons I am holding is sporting a double image later in the game. Eg. I see extra pairs of fists in front and an extra rifles side on right side. Seems strange since I did not notice that before.

My question is that an in game problem or from the video card. If vis card, is it bad and need replacement?

Could you post a screenshot?

I would tend to think that this was a cable issue. Do a check of your cable connections.

A screenshot would be helpful too.

Are you only seeing double with your own arm and rifle or is it happening with everything?

To clarify, Crysis or Crysis Warhead and what version are you running?

so far, only with my own arm and rifle. It also looks like I got occasional tears on the screen when this happens. Just the original Crysis, not warhead. I did not patch it yet since I just re-installed the game to test the graphics.

I will see if I can get a screenshot tonight and post.

update: seems to be a glitch in the saved game. I loaded a previous save and all seems good.
