If I open up a window on my desktop and then drag it left and right, I notice some tearing happening on the sides.
In games, I have to enable vsync (or force it with my video card drivers), otherwise I will experience tearing.
I also notice a little bit of tearing with this test image: http://img1.lesnumeriques.com/...promo/Remanence17.html
My refresh rate is 60hz in windows. As far as I know, vsync only works with 3d rendering, not 2d windows. Is there a way to avoid this tearing or is it just the way the panel is?
