I am using two 2.5" Seagate HDs + aluminum case on the PC's USB 3.0 port. I opened Crystal DiskInfo and both are in good health, but I tried to do a complete scan for errors on the HD using SeaTools. The scan aborts at 3% and the drives disconnect from my computer. Crystal Disk Info and SeaTools then remove the USB cable and plug it in again and everything works again. What could be causing this bug in SeaTools?
