Usually it hurts. In the 3 years Trump has been in office, Ive earned more percentage-wise than 3 of my top years in the Obama administration. And my investments really havent changed much.
But you have to take everything into consideration from what Obama started with vs trump. The stock market, even after Obama pulled us out of a recession was stagnate till sometime in 2014 where the feds injected it with money ($220 billion)to kick start it, In 2013. Trump didn't have to kick start anything. In fact, the feds have injected over $400 billion into the stock market since September of 2019. One was to kick start it, one was for what reason?

He is a part of why they are dropping. Disinformation, nothing really offered to comfort anyone during this crysis, and when you use manuevers meant to help a falling economy to artificially keep an economy/stock market up, you end up with no options and no trust when stuff like this happens.

What is out of his control is global economy as a whole which directly effects ours, and other governments hopefully take steps to control what they can with their economy.

So, is he fully responsible, no. Does he play a part in it. Yes.

OK> end theres nothing he couldve done to prevent it. Period.

I already knew this. All you're doing is sidestepping the issue again, this time with more insults.
Trump could have taken pre-emptive action to prepare the markets for what everyone else saw coming a month away, but what he's been insisting for that month was a hoax.

Nope. Youte wrong, Sorry.

Sorry. Obama has nothing to with the current correction. At all.

Where did I say Obama had anything to do with this correction? You have a serious comprehension problem if that is your take on what I said. May I suggest you read what I applied to, and then read my response again and try to actually think and comprehend what I SAID.

For starters, he could have not taken steps that artificially inflated it, leaving him options to help reduce the impact, and keep it from dropping as much as it did. But since those options are not available now for the most part, he is struggling on what to do now.

Lol at the keyboard warrior typing so furiously that his sentences are barely coherent.

Do you guys like arguing with six year olds? Because his responses have been nothing but, “nu haw”.

Name one thing that would have prevented this correction that Trump couldn't done. Show us your intelligence on the matter.
There would have been a huge correction no matter what Trump did, the thing is the massive tax cuts in a strong economy were not needed. That's a tactic that you employ when the chips are down so you keep it in your back pocket until needed. Nope, Trump just had to show how he was better than Obama, the market at close to 29K was WAY overvalued and just looking for an excuse for a correction, this was more excuse than ever planned for though.

Looks like a big rally day today, but my guess is at the close we’ll maybe gain back half of what was lost yesterday.

Airline industry headed for the worst time since 9/11:

American cutting flights up to 10%. Retracted 2020 revenue guidance.

Delta cutting flights 15% or more, freeze hiring, forgoing 500M in capital projects, delay pension funding, suspend stock buyback. Bookings down 30% and they expect worse to come.

Norwegian announcing major schedule cuts and layoffs.

Southwest looking at flight cuts with dropping domestic demand.

Managing the economy is like managing bipolar disorder. Both the delicious manic highs & the dismal depressed lows go away. It's why patients quit taking their meds & why the GOP refuses constructive regulation. The only real pain lands on the little people, anyway. The lifestyles of the Ultra Rich are left intact in any case. Winning is for status & power.

Wall Street is going to chase returns regardless just like workers will seek higher wages regardless. They wouldn’t seek lower returns If only you got your way and Trump tax cuts didn’t happen and we taxed rich more. And “constructive” regulation is inherently subjective, you might want to post some of the proposals you favor so they can be examined.

They totally have a plan but its locked up in Ben Carson's brain and he isn't ready to talk about it yet.
We'll get it when we get their healthcare plan, we just need to vote for them, get them re-elected, and then we'll DEFINITELY see the plans.

I've been watching a first class ticket to Florida for April and it just went UP 250 bucks! Damnit.

First class tickets may not follow the same economics as economy tickets, perhaps. Different clientele, reason for travel, etc.

I was looking at flights for a trip next week, they've come down $200 in the last 3 weeks.
