Trump has bet his entire Presidency on the economy. If that turns down, he's toast. I don't believe that's going to happen though, and I do believe this is just a necessary correction, but we'll see. An ~8% decline in less than 2 days leads me to believe that there's more rattling the markets than just the coronavirus.

The Houston floods were also not managed well, but mostly forgotten.
Really, Trump has been tremendously lucky to date as he's had no challenges to really confront.
