I remembered this site from many years ago and they are still around, so they have to be legit. You can dl up to 50mb games for free, and more if you pay for a membershit.

They remove any still protected games, and leave the ones that you are able to dl legally, I mean if they were not they would of been shut down a very long time ago. I have come into only one that had a virus so make sure you check them before you install them. Other then that, they have quite a selection of older games for yesterday past there, worth a look or two, IMO.

Another free, full, game site, mainly freeware, but free games none the less, with no limit to the dl.

I got a lot of older games I used to have, and still have in the basement somewhere, I just dont have to go hunt for them.
Doom, duke, tons of dos games, what more can you want for free, and even more for just a few bucks if you go for the membershit
Which Im going to have to do when I can afford to since they have some games there that I have busted cd's that the top coating has come off and are worthless I used to love playing.

Nice, I found three games I was looking for. Carmageddon, SimCity 2000 and Scorched Earth(this game is a classic).

Why would it be warez? These games no longer being made and sold, so the manufacturer loses nothing.

Great classic games there, remember a lot of them.

Well, if the copyright to the games hasn't yet expired or been explicitly released into the public domain, then the copyright is still valid, so it would still be illegal. However, if the company is no longer around, the likelihood of someone complaining is obviously pretty low.

Also, it makes no difference whether the games are no longer being made and sold. Generally speaking, any game competes at least to some extent with any other game, so it's not hard to imagine a situation where the company would rather have you buy their new games to play than to play their old games for free.

I had thought that myself, but I have seen alot of of the games when you click on them say that they are still for sale, with a link to where you may buy them, and then some that say they are still protected do not link to where they can be downloaded, or ask for one to be emailed to you so you can dl it.

The site has been around for over 5 years that I know of, then I forgot all about it till a few days ago and they were still around and offering some free to dl upto 50mb, and if you pay a small fee can dl bigger files. I would think by now if what they were doing was wrong, or illegal, they would of been shut down, but they havent. And obviously someone is watching the site closely to make sure they dont have any games on there they you can still buy, or is still under some sort of protection, doesnt have a dl link for anyone to get it.

Either way, Im not going through it grabbing all I can, Im dl, games I still have copies of, and ones I have the coating has come off of that are useless, but because I kept the disk, I dont throw anything away, ask my wife she hates it, but once I do I all of a sudden have a use for that thing I threw away, so I keep it all, but anyway, I just get the ones I still have. I have games in my basement that are well over 10 years old and work on dos or windows 95/98 only, and some point will get around to making a windows 98 game box so I can play them all again.

But my point is they been around for years, if what they have been doing is wrong they would of been shut down and sued a long time ago since all the game and music companies are sue crazy. I nay be wrong in my thinking, but I have see a lot of other site get sued and shut down right away, and you wont find on that site any newer games unless it is freeware. OH speaking of which I wonder if the other free freeware game site is still up. if so they have thousands of full free games to dl from
